Robert has called the Lowcountry home since 2007, moving from Erie Pennsylvania in the middle of a blizzard with his car packed with everything he owned. Coming from a place that had 2 seasons: Winter and August, Robert fell in love with the incredible year round weather and beauty the Lowcountry has to offer.
Robert received his B.A. from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania in Intelligence Studies, a degree with a focus on research, analysis and history. He attributes his success in real estate to his ability to research the market and better understand the past and today’s market to help his sellers and buyers. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his son Robbie and his beautiful wife Sandra from Colombia, South America, whom he married in 2012 with a romantic ceremony at the Waterside Chapel on the May River followed by an exquisite reception in the grand ballroom of the River House at Palmetto Bluff, one of his favorite communities.
Robert began his Real Estate career in 2014 working for a National Franchised Brokerage and absorbed as much as he could learning from the company’s top producers. He found immediate success in the Open House program meeting buyers and sellers on weekends when other agents were out on their boats or at the Beach. He hustled his way to the #2 Agent for the entire franchise out of 135+ agents and was one of the top producing Real Estate Agents in the country, earning the title of the #5 Agent Nationwide for that brokerage out of 6700+. Robert realized he was ready to take a chance and break away to build his own Brokerage and Team. Looking back, opening a brokerage during the Pandemic was probably not the best idea as the country was shutting down, but he believed in himself and knew his only option was to succeed.
And so, in 2021 during the Pandemic, Robert officially opened his own Brokerage – Moul, REALTORS® with the first office in downtown Bluffton. Future expansion plans include an office in Hilton Head and Beaufort, but The Team currently covers those areas as well. Robert began to recruit and train his agents with a goal of building wealth together.
Robert’s expertise in Social Media, his online presence and his reviews set him apart from other real estate agents in the area. In fact, in 2017 Robert shared his secrets for real estate success on stage with hundreds of real estate professionals at a national convention in Henderson, Nevada. Robert considers himself a motivational speaker and enjoys mentoring other agents within his organization to help them achieve success in the industry.

As one of the top producing real estate brokerages in the area, Robert and his team have sold over $194 MILLION in Real Estate in the last 10 years, over 524 transactions. As a result of his negotiating, he has helped buyers pay on average only 94% of the property’s asking price, resulting in savings of over 1/4 of a Million Dollars to buyers in the last 18 months. Robert also has one of the lowest days on the market stats for the properties he sells, where the overall average is 6 months for this area (before the recent buying frenzy skewed the numbers).
With a degree in Intelligence Studies, Robert studied to work for the federal government as an intelligence analyst. His focus was on research and analysis, the ability to use his research skills to uncover information and then analyze it to his benefit. Understanding the real estate market relies heavily on the ability to research the past and present to uncover and analyze trends predicting the future. Robert’s unique background in research and analysis combined with his sales knowledge and experience sets him apart from the competition.
Many agents lack one of the most important skills in real estate, the ability to negotiate. Before real estate, Robert worked in retail for many years as a sales manager and understands the power of negotiation. He joined the exclusive Million Dollar Sales Club for closing over $1 Million in sales in one year. Now he sells over $6M in real estate each quarter! Closing deals is his specialty. Real estate school doesn’t teach you the art of negotiating. Agents who have “true tested” selling methods may be leaving dollars for you on the table when you list your home with them. It takes new and innovative tactics to get the most out of your home. And you need someone that is willing to take risks to get you that money. It’s easy for an agent to stay in their comfort zone, especially one that has been in real estate for many years. They get used to their “usual” methods to sell a home at the “usual” market prices. Robert will negotiate the best possible deal no matter what it takes.
Growing up with computers and technology, Robert founded his own website design and development company at age 13. As new technology emerges and creates new marketing avenues, Robert is on top of the changes. Marketing a property takes more than just listing on the MLS. Have you ever visited a real estate agent’s website and it looks like it hasn’t been updated in years? More and more agents are falling behind the technology curve. Technology changes daily, and you need someone that is up to speed with all the latest marketing ideas.
As a member of the National Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors and the Hilton Head Association of Realtors, Robert subscribes to a strict code of ethics and is expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate.
Taking his education to the next level, Robert completed the necessary training to become a Broker in 2018. He still works with buyers and sellers but with a higher level of understanding and education.
With Military Bases in the area, MCAS Beaufort (Marine Corps Air Station), The Naval Hospital and Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Robert has been certified by the National Association of Realtors as an MRP. The certification is presented to REALTORS who help military personnel, veterans and their families find housing that lets them make the best use of their benefits and serves the unique needs of military life.
